ABSTRACT
A fixture is a mechanism used in manufacturing to hold and secure a windmill connection, positioning it correctly relative to a CMM inspection machine probe. In the CMM inspection device, minimizing alignment time and achieving stability due to clamping is essential to maintain inspection accuracy. Setting the work and its alignment manually with the magnetic block v is therefore a time-consuming process, reducing setup time and alignment time, etc. . is a main objective of the process. The accessory reduces setup time, increases accuracy and better inspection accuracy is possible.
INTRODUCTION
When work is inspected in the CMM, a lot of time is spent setting up the work and aligning it. This reduces productivity also if there is misalignment of work, it affects inspection accuracy. Therefore, to avoid misalignment and improve inspection accuracy, inspection device is used. The inspection device sets the work in the proper direction so that we can make the program for inspection and the automatic inspection is carried out by the CMM. This minimizes manual work and setup time, so productivity can be increased. Design and manufacture the inspection device to minimize setup time and improve accuracy. Marvelous Machinist currently uses a magnetic V-block to support the connection vertically and inspections are done manually, i.e. using the joystick. The biggest problem with this method is more setup time, the time required to set the job perfectly vertical is longer.
The accuracy of CMM inspection depends on the number of points obtained by the CMM probe. Another disadvantage of this method is that the CMM probe cannot be positioned close to the V block and is under the V block, which directly affects the inspection accuracy. One more disadvantage of this method is misalignment. In this method, there is a possibility of misalignment and it takes more time to align which directly affects productivity.
Problem definition

CONCLUSION
We designed and manufactured an inspection device for inspections of windmill “connections”. This can be used for five different components. This will increase inspection accuracy and productivity by reducing misalignment, reducing setup time and decreasing inspection time by 60% per job.
