AUTOMATIC PLATE CLEANER - Mechanical Project
SYNOPSIS
The main objective of our project is to save time. It is highly impossible to spend our time always cleaning the whiteboard. Instead, we can control the DC motor so that the whiteboard is cleaned. It really saves our valuable and precious time. We can do this huge work simply by using the forward/reverse switch control. It is very useful as it has several advantages. Our objective is to design and develop an electrical system normally “AUTOMATIC PLATE CLEANER”.
INTRODUCTION
This is an era of automation where automation is broadly defined as the replacement of manual effort by mechanical energy at all degrees of automation. Operation continues to be an essential part of the system, albeit with changing demands on physical resources as the degree of mechanization increases.
Degrees of automation are of two types, viz.
- Full automation.
- Semi-automation.
In semi-automation a combination of manual effort and mechanical energy is required, while in full automation human participation is very insignificant.
Its construction is simple and requires less maintenance.
Low cost
Portable in size and easy to carry
No external devices are used here to control it.
Less manual work
Time-saving design
BLOCK DIAGRAM
The block diagram of automatic plate cleaner is shown in the figure, it consists of a 2V battery, DC motor, pulleys and frame support. The forward and reverse switch is used to control the DC motor so that it runs in both directions. Motor and pulley drive mechanism is used to clean the plate with proper arrangement.
BENEFITS
DISADVANTAGES
• Externally charged by battery
• Additional cost is required
