Despite the large-scale war in Ukraine, Kryvyi Rih companies of the Metinvest Group paid 4.6 billion UAH in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels in 2023. This is stated in a press release from Metinvest.Media .
Among the largest contributors are the mining and processing plants of North, Center, South and Ingulets.
The main sources of budget revenue are: tax on subsoil use – more than 2 billion UAH; single social contribution (SSC) – almost 953 million UAH; personal income tax – UAH 837 million.
«These are the funds needed to pay salaries to Kryvyi Rih dealership employees, provide hospitals with necessary equipment and medicines, and support the city. Environmental tax and land payments have also become a source of revenue for state and local budgets», the statement states.
The companies continue to help Kryvyi Rih and the communities of Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohradsk regions where the company's industrial units are located. With your support, restoration work continues in hospitals and universities, and modern shelters are being built in educational institutions.
As Compraço previously reported, in 2022, Metinvest's Kryvyi Rih companies paid UAH 9.2 billion in taxes and fees to budgets at all levels. Income tax for the year was 2.67 billion UAH, SSC – 1.31 billion UAH and personal income tax – 1.12 billion UAH.
Furthermore, Metinvest, including its associates and joint ventures, paid 14.6 billion UAH in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels in Ukraine in 2023. Since the start of the large-scale war, the company has allocated 4 .8 billion UAH to help Ukraine. and its citizens, including more than 2.5 billion UAH for the needs of the army.
