Rigol expands lines of function generators and multimeters

RIGOL Technologies is expanding its family of ultraportable instruments with the introduction of the DG800 Pro and DG900 Pro Series Arbitrary Waveform/Function Generators, along with the DM858 Series Digital Multimeters. Like their predecessors — the DHO800 and DHO900 Series High Resolution Oscilloscopes — these new generators and multimeters offer impressive performance and functionality in a compact, lightweight form factor.

The DG800 Pro and DG900 Pro Series Arbitrary Waveform/Function Generators are packed with features. In addition to the obvious performance of generating functions and generating arbitrary waveforms, these instruments include the features of noise generator, pulse generator, harmonic generator, analog/digital modulator and frequency counter. They deliver impressive performance – up to 200 MHz maximum output frequency, 1.25 GSa/s sampling rate, 16-bit vertical resolution, and 3 ns rise time – in a compact chassis with a 7-inch color touchscreen. ”.

The new DM858 series is a lightweight yet capable 5.5-digit benchtop DMM with a 7″ color touchscreen display. It provides 11 measurement functions and offers trend graph, histogram and bar chart visual display options while providing competitive specifications including measurement speed of 125 rdgs/s and 500,000 point memory record.

In addition to their functional capabilities, these new series of instruments are lightweight and compact, providing significant space savings on the bench or table. Each unit is designed to meet VESA 100×100 mounting, allowing the use of movable arm stands or brackets for more efficient use of bench space. The instruments include a Type-C interface, so the combination of their light weight (less than four pounds) and commercially available power banks makes it easy to move from the lab to the field.

The DG800 Pro and DG900 Pro Series Arbitrary/Functional Waveform Generators, along with the DM858 Series Digital Multimeters, are now available, in stock and shipping.
