Nexperia, the critical semiconductor specialist, announced that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative – a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and dissemination of responsible business practices.
With this announcement, Nexperia says it is proud to join thousands of other companies globally committed to taking responsible business action to create the world we all want.
The UN Global Compact is a call to companies around the world to align their operations and strategies with 10 universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption – and to take action in support of the objectives and UN issues incorporated into the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Nexperia aims to take a proactive approach to sustainability by implementing reliable management systems and incorporating environmentally friendly practices throughout its operations. As a signatory to the UN Global Compact, the company adheres to three fundamental environmental principles.
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, with more than 15,000 companies and 3,800 non-business signatories based in more than 160 countries and more than 69 local networks.
