2mm Smooth Steel Sheet with SAE 1020 cold rolling for stamping . Cold rolled steel has a much smoother appearance and is stronger than hot rolled steel . The steel goes through an annealing process that consists of a heat treatment to increase its ductility. After annealing, the material is kept covered to prevent oxidation and allow the decomposition of oils that may still be present.

To assist in the surface finishing and leveling of the steel sheet , it is subjected to cold rolling of the material with low reduction.

The end result is a cleaner, finer metal surface finish.
