Corte a laser: o impacto da posição do foco

Laser cutting: the impact of focus position

Laser cutting is an important application of lasers in which the laser beam is focused on the surface of the material using a focusing lens to melt the material.

Simultaneously, the molten material is expelled by the compressed gas coaxially with the laser beam. The laser beam and the material are moved relative to each other along a certain track, thus forming a specific cutting shape.

Zero Focus Crop

During zero focus cutting, the smallest spot size can be obtained on the plate surface. This results in a relatively narrow melting range and smaller kerf, making it suitable for high-precision cutting of thin materials.

Cutting features

Scope of application

Positive focus

Positive focus

The slit at the bottom of the plate is larger than that at the top, which helps the bottom part to participate in the complete oxidation reaction and slag discharge. Oxygen cutting of carbon steel
Negative focus

Negative focus

The focus is inside the board, and the cutting seam of the upper part of the board is larger, which ensures that the lower part has sufficient energy density. Nitrogen/air cutting of stainless steel, carbon steel, galvanized steel, aluminum and copper
Zero focus

Zero focus

The slot is the narrowest and the machining accuracy is high Cutting leaves/leaves

Precision cutting

In recent years, the power range of fiber lasers has increased annually, and laser cutting applications have changed from kilowatts to 10,000 watts.

Our laser factory has continuously explored the application of high-power lasers and developed a unique HBF (high brightness flat mode) laser output. This production guarantees excellent cutting quality for thick sheets, while taking into account the need for efficient cutting of thin sheets.

In actual cutting applications, it is necessary to select the appropriate focus position according to the specific cutting requirements.
