Galvalume steel sheet combines the excellent anti-corrosion protection of aluminum with the galvanic protection of zinc. The result is a coating that lasts a long time, a coating that provides top-notch protection along the cut edges, and a coating that offers excellent protection to the steel sheet. Although there are some exceptions, for most applications in various types of environments, Galvalume steel sheet is the preferred product when long-term resistance to atmospheric corrosion is sought. This advanced protection means there are fewer rust spots on the cut edges, scratches, and other imperfections in the coating. Furthermore, since the coating is so resistant to corrosion, It retains a very glossy surface appearance when exposed to the elements.
