Vishay adiciona opção de pegar e colocar e dobrar o chumbo para certos resistores de fio enrolado

Vishay adds pick-and-place and lead bending option for certain wirewound resistors

Vishay Intertechnology announced that certain devices in its AC and AC-AT series of cemented, axial-lead wirewound resistors are now available with an easy-to-pick-up and easy-to-place lead bending option. WSZ lead format allows devices to be used as surface mount components

By offering high power dissipation and excellent pulse capability, Vishay Draloric resistors are the first devices in the industry to be offered in a non-inductive version. Devices available with the WSZ lead form are shown in the table below.

WSZ lead format resistors can be mounted on the PCB along with other surface mount components to improve the pick and place process and reduce costs. The devices will serve as snubber, charge, and inrush current limiting resistors for precharge/discharge applications in automotive and industrial electronics, energy meters, and white goods power supplies.

For challenging operating conditions, the devices feature a robust, non-flammable silicone cement coating that complies with UL 94 V-0. The resistors operate over a wide temperature range from -55° to +250° C and offer a wirewound construction that meets the highest requirements against mechanical strength, thermal shock, dielectric strength and insulation resistance at high temperatures.

Halogen-free, RoHS-compliant devices offer tinned terminations for compatibility with both lead-free (Pb) and lead-containing (Pb) soldering processes.
