2. NOTION

Notion caters to home automation, wireless, and IoT technologies. The startup offers a multifunctional sensor that goes by the same name, i.e. Notion. These sensors can be easily installed in almost any corner of your home, including doors, windows, and the ceiling. The device is equipped with 8 senses, namely light, movement, sound, natural frequency, acceleration, temperature, angular rate and water.

Users can use Notion in three simple steps. First, the bridge is connected to the socket that connects to Wi-Fi. After that, the sensor is placed in the desired location and the Wi-Fi connection is enabled. Once the installation is complete, all information will be displayed on your smartphone app. The device can detect water leakage, regulate temperature, fire alarm and window breakage.

3. BLUFLUX

Founder: Ben Wilmhoff

Bluflux performs end-to-end RF design and testing that helps wireless product developers optimize new designs based on the DecaWave real-time location system (RTLS) chipset. Featured products include UWB antenna design, antenna testing, and wearable device optimization. The focus is on RF design optimization, cellular certification guidance, troubleshooting, wireless testing, and 24-hour pattern measurement.

The startup was honored with the Colorado Technology Association's 2015 APEX Startup of the Year Award. Additionally, the Bluflux team has also been associated with Google's Advanced Technology and Projects Group (ATAP) for Project Soli.

4. WIGWAG

WigWag connects all smart devices to form an ecosystem to automate simple tasks. Products include WigWag Relay and lighting kit along with a smartphone app that can be used by Android and iPhone users. Elliegrid is a pill box, designed especially for seniors, who have complex medications, to help them manage their medications and supplements. The box has different columns to classify each type of pill and emits a reminder alarm every time the user is required to take the medicine.

To use Elliegrid, the user simply fills in the data using an application and then the device notifies about medication intake. It also sends a message to your loved ones if they forget to open the box at the scheduled time. The campaign has already raised $43,054 and the team is currently focused on building the tool for manufacturing. The first batch will likely be manufactured in February 2017, while deliveries will begin in May 2017.

The user must click on activate and then link their user account to the platform and from there it will notify the user about the selected service.
