Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. announced new work with Visteon Corporation to bring transformative, world-class in-vehicle experiences to the new Scorpio-N, using Qualcomm Technologies' 3rd Generation Snapdragon Cockpit platforms.
Scorpio-N offers a cutting-edge driving and ownership experience powered by Mahindra's connected artificial intelligence (AI) technology, which utilizes Visteon's SmartCore cockpit domain controller technology based on Snapdragon Cockpit platforms.
The Scorpio-N features a 17.78cm color driver information display and a 20.32cm navigation infotainment system. Leveraging scalable AI-based Snapdragon Cockpit platforms, Scorpio-N delivers a new level of personalization and natural interaction between a vehicle and its driver, including virtual assistance. It also offers immersive, ultra-HD audio-visual experiences, among a host of other features for drivers and passengers.
A key component of the Snapdragon Digital Chassis technology stack, the 3rd generation Snapdragon Cockpit platforms are designed to support higher levels of computing and intelligence required for advanced features featured in next-generation vehicles, helping to enable security use cases contextual for drivers and passengers. This includes facilitating driver monitoring and object detection and helping to ensure the security of personal and vehicle data.
Additionally, the Snapdragon Cockpit platform features an advanced suite of wireless technologies to support multi-mode cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, and enhanced Bluetooth technologies.
