O ciclo de vida esmagador dos frameworks Javascript

The Overwhelming Lifecycle of Javascript Frameworks

JavaScript frameworks are known for their fast lifecycles. Why is the JavaScript ecosystem so fast?

StackOverflow framework trends shows a decline in framework interest after just a few years, with only React maintaining steady growth from 2016 to 2022.

The review mat is certainly addictive. It's easy to get excited about something new without realizing the effects it will have on our products. This is especially true with depreciations. While most companies are wise enough to carefully review documentation before implementing an update, it's easy to miss a line or two. The end result? Suddenly the code is no longer compatible with the framework.

What does this mean for your business

On the one hand, having such a large and energetic community is incredible. The ecosystem has gotten out of control and now we're seeing how powerful JavaScript and web apps can be. On the other hand, JavaScript fatigue is real. Developers are feeling stressed, exhausted and frustrated because it is extremely difficult to keep up with all the changes in the ecosystem in such a short time.

Do you really need to stay up to date with the latest release? Perhaps. The only valid advice I can give at this moment is to understand that not all changes are good and that new revisions always involve recycling to some extent. Don't jump on the bandwagon when your current solution is producing results. In other words, think before you leap.
