Mosquito swatter or mosquito racket

Mosquitoes are definitely annoying and can also transmit diseases. The best way to destroy mosquito is electronic killing using Swatter. Eliminates the use of toxic chemicals. Mosquito coils and liquids do not kill mosquitoes, they only repel them. The mosquitoes will return when the chemical disappears from the atmosphere. Mosquito swatter or racket The fly swatter is commonly called a mosquito racket and is used to kill the mosquito and not to repel it. As each mosquito lays thousands of eggs, destroying one mosquito is equivalent to destroying thousands of mosquitoes.

A little about mosquito biology
There is no doubt that mosquitoes and mosquito bites are irritating. Nuisance mosquitoes bother people around homes or in parks and recreational areas and everywhere. They reduce property values, negatively affect tourism and related commercial interests, or have a negative impact on livestock or poultry production. Above all, mosquitoes transmit fatal diseases like dengue, malaria, filariasis, chikungunya, encephalomyelitis, etc.
Swarm of mosquitoes
Mosquitoes are crepuscular (active at twilight – night and early morning) and show mass migration (swarming) in places where humans are located. The mosquito has poor flying ability, so it can only fly 10 to 20 meters away and up to a height of 20 to 25 meters. They usually fly above ground level about 2 to 3 feet. This is why we get more mosquito bites on our legs. Mosquitoes prefer the legs because they get enough blood from the legs because the leg veins are large and located just under the skin. The mosquitoes that bite us are members of the local population. In other words, mosquitoes created in our own home. Long-distance mosquitoes will not migrate to our house to bite.
Ultrasound detection
The male mosquito produces characteristic ultrasonic vibrations to attract females. After mating, the female mosquito avoids the presence of males by detecting the males' ultrasound. This is the principle of ultrasonic mosquito repellents that produce 22-38kHz ultrasound to simulate the sound of male mosquito. The female mosquito considers the device to be a male mosquito and avoids its presence.

Human detection
Mosquitoes have complex methods for detecting hosts and different types of mosquitoes react to different stimuli. Most mosquitoes are active at dawn and dusk, but there are also mosquitoes that bite during the day. There are many factors that attract mosquitoes to you.
1. Body temperature
Exact detection of body temperature depends on the type of mosquito. Many mosquitoes are attracted to the slightly cooler temperatures of the extremities (hands, feet, nose and ears) of the body.
2. Carbon Dioxide
The carbon dioxide content in the body attracts mosquitoes. The carbon dioxide content in the closed room also attracts mosquitoes.
3. Humidity
Mosquitoes are attracted to perspiration because of the chemicals it contains and also because it increases humidity around the body. Indoor plants, aquarium etc attract more mosquitoes.
4. Lactic Acid
The body's lactic acid content is another attraction. The lactic acid content in the blood increases after exercise and also after eating salty foods with a high potassium content.
5. Perfumes and Flowers
Perfumes, floral decorations, cosmetics, scented cloths, etc. attract mosquitoes.
6. Dark clothes
Dark cloth attracts mosquitoes because they can easily locate the host in the surrounding area. They have poor eyesight. Mosquitoes rest on removed clothing due to the presence of body odor, believing that the human being is there.
Mosquito bite
Mosquitoes have chemo sensors that allow them to detect humans or any other animal by odor, heat, etc. released by the body and also by carbon dioxide exhaled by humans and other animals. Mosquito bites are only caused by the bite of a female mosquito. The female mosquito feeds our blood by piercing the skin with her proboscis, a modified mouth part. When sucking our blood, the mosquito deposits some saliva on the skin. Saliva contains anticoagulant proteins that remain in our bodies and react with the body's chemicals, resulting in the characteristic itching and swelling. Both male and female mosquitoes feed on plant juice, but female mosquitoes bite humans to obtain blood protein for the maturation of their eggs. On the first day that it emerges from the pupa, the female mosquito does not bite and on the second day it mates and starts feeding on human blood. After two or three days it lays thousands of eggs in the water and they die.

Mosquito swatter

It is an electronic device that produces high voltage of around 300-400 volts in networks. When the mosquito passes through the external and internal nets of the swatter, its wings become short and sparks that will destroy it. The mosquito killer circuit consists of three sections.
1. AC to DC Converter
The AC is stepped down directly using the AC capacitor and rectified through the full wave diode bridge. A low value smoothing capacitor is also present. This DC is used to charge the battery in rechargeable types. But in non-rechargeable types, AC-DC conversion is not present.
2. Oscillator
A transistor-based oscillator is present to generate pulses. The transistor turns on and off quickly to create a rising and falling voltage for the transformer to step up.
3. A step-up transformer to generate high voltage AC by inverting DC to AC.
4. Network or Grid – High voltage and low current pulses pass to the network. The assembled grid has three nets. Two outer networks are negative and the middle one is positive.

When the mosquito swatter is turned on and gently shakes, the electric field of the net attracts mosquitoes and they try to move through the net, causing a fatal shock.
Probable reasons for failure
1. Battery failure
In rechargeable deathmatch, the battery must be properly charged. It is a 3 volt battery that deeply discharges if the unit is used continuously for 10-20 minutes. Therefore, after use, it must be plugged in to charge. For non-rechargeable types, frequent battery replacement is required.
2. Shortening the network
Short circuit in the network is another important cause of failure. During use, the grid may mechanically vibrate and hit furniture and walls. The networks are very delicate and if they come into contact a short circuit occurs which destroys the internal circuit.
3. Breakage of the weld point
The output of the step-up transformer is connected to the networks using wires. These wires are soldered to the network. When the mechanical vibration is too strong, the weld points can become loose.
4. Contact with water
If you spill water on the net, dry it immediately in the sun. Don't try to stuff rags into the net to clean up the water. This will destroy the network.
5. Charging
Take care when charging Swatter. If the built-in plug is loose in the socket, there is a possibility of sparks that could destroy the internal circuit. If the plug is loose, the fly swatter may fall out of the wall-mounted outlet. Therefore, if the pin is not fitting firmly into the socket, try carrying an extension cord with the fly swatter placed in a horizontal plane.
6. Do not insert any metal tools, such as screwdrivers, into the network. This will destroy the network through short circuit and will also cause a shock (mild but may burn) to you. Do not touch the net when the switch is pressed.
7. Don't give fly swatters to children. They will play badminton considering the mosquito as a ball. During the play, there is a definite chance of hitting – not the mosquito, but the wall or the furniture. This could permanently damage the fly swatter.
