Diodes launches automotive-compatible precision operational amplifiers

Diodes Incorporated is addressing the need for advanced signal conditioning in modern automotive designs by introducing two precision operational amplifiers (op amps) targeted at different signal frequency scenarios.

The DIODES AS2376Q's low signal-to-noise characteristics mean it is optimized for high-frequency use, such as in on-board chargers (OBCs), DC-DC converters, battery management system (BMS) implementations, pumps, airbags , position sensors and occupancy detection systems.

The minimal quiescent current exhibited by the DIODES AS2333Q, launched in August, makes it highly suitable for addressing functions that continue even when the vehicle is idle.

A bandwidth of 5.5 MHz allows the AS2376Q operational amplifier to handle 50 kHz signals without significant loss of signal accuracy. Its low input noise density (9.5nV/√Hz) and low-frequency noise of 0.8µVpp, along with rail-rail output, result in improved signal integrity. With an offset voltage of 5μV (typical), the AS2376Q supports a wide dynamic range. Supply voltages from 2.2 to 5.5 V are accepted, allowing greater design flexibility.

The AS2333Q operational amplifier has a quiescent current of just 12μA in each amplifier channel, which allows it to be used in systems that need to remain active at all times. Excellent common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) across its entire rail-to-rail input range, coupled with near-zero drift over time and temperature, provide long-term signal accuracy in broad mode rail precision applications. common. Its supply voltage of 1.8 to 5.5 V allows it to operate on 3.3 and 5 V automotive rails.
