Drummer

Drummer Circuit Summary-

• This project is for music lovers or those who love the sound of the drummer.
• It is easy to hold and assemble.
• The cost incurred is very less compared to the different drummers available in the market.
• The components required to build the project are easily available on the market.
• In this project, a sound similar to that of a drummer is produced.
• The project is built with the help of NE555 IC.
Principle behind the Circuit-
The 555 timer IC is widely used in projects as it has a low price and offers high performance. Here's another simple project made with the same timer that can provide an hour of fun.
It makes use of the NE555 timer along with support from some other discrete components such as a trigger circuit and a variable resistor VR1 for time adjustment. So, with the help of VR1 we can generate various beats. A stable mode of the IC is used in this circuit.
Now, the moment power is given to the capacitor of circuit C1 and C2, it is coupled to the input pin of IC1, that is, pin 2 activates. The voltage on the pin goes low and in turn pin 3 goes high. As a result, the sound comes out through the speaker Sp which is connected to pin3 through capacitors C3 and C4 which are connected in parallel.
This project generates various drum sounds, mainly as we hear in jazz or disco music. In place of two parallel 10uf capacitors, i.e. C1 and C2 and C3 and C4, you can use a single 20uF capacitor.
This circuit is also very useful for those who want to rehearse a song or song at the same rhythm.
