Norwegian owner of offshore vessel Siem Offshore has received a contract extension for multipurpose support vessel (MPSV) Siem Dorado.
According to Siem Offshore, the extension guarantees the use of the Siem Dorado MPSV for a period that extends until the end of the fourth quarter of 2024.
The contract is expected to commence in direct continuation of the current contract, with continued operations expected outside the North Sea.
The Siem Dorado is a diesel electric vessel built in 2009. It is designed to serve the general offshore supply market with its 100 tonne offset offshore crane, specially designed for ROV and light construction tasks.
The vessel's last recorded position was in Brazil, South America.
