High pressure globe valve

When the high pressure shut-off valve is in operation, the stuffing box extends to the end of the disc and projects from the boot, forming an inverted cone with an end diameter greater than the diameter of the coupling portion with the boot. A sealing ring corresponding to the shape of the gap is provided in the annular gap formed between the cone of the inverted cone in the stuffing box, the inner hole of the valve body and the surface of the cover opposite the end surface of the high pressure check valve. Using the above technical scheme, the pressure of the liquid medium itself is used to achieve the purpose of sealing. The higher the pressure, the greater the sealing force and the more reliable the seal, making it a pressure-tight globe valve.

When the temperature and pressure fluctuate under high pressure, the sealing performance is good and reliable. Compared to forced sealing, the high pressure ball valve does not require large screw preload. The center flange is small, light and has a compact structure.

The main features of the high pressure globe valve:

  • Temperature range: -40°C – 550°C
  • Body material: carbon steel, stainless steel
  • Shaft material: stainless steel
  • Seal: flexible graphite, reinforced teflon
  • Connection: flange, butt welding, internal thread
  • Suitable media: water, steam, oil, etc.
