INTELLIGENT AUTOMATIC HYDRO IRRIGATION SYSTEM – MECHANICAL PROJECT

TO AIM:

The ultimate goal of our project is to provide water to a given land or field automatically at a given time

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Agriculture is one of the most important aspects of our life. It is the only field that maintains human life to survive on earth. Without food no one can live and we all do. In this scientific world we can automate any and all processes in order to reduce the manual workload and also time consumption.

It will be more useful if we introduce automation in this agricultural domain. Here we will reduce manual work due to irrigation through onboard systems.

In this project we use microcontroller to control the entire process. A small keypad is used to set the opening time for a specific valve circuit. It consists of keys such as enter key, increment key and decrement key. Using these keys we configure the valve opening time via the microcontroller. The set time is displayed on the LCD display.

The opening circuit of three valves (valves 1,2 and3) is connected to the microcontroller. If one valve circuit 1 is kept in ON time it means that the other two valve circuits are kept in delay time. If the time specified for the first valve ends, opening control goes to the 2-circuit valve to make it open to the desired time. At this moment, the other two valve opening circuits are maintained in delay time. If the specified duration time for the second valve ends, opening control goes to valve 3 circuits to open it to the specified duration time.

APPLICATION:

Our project is mainly implemented for farmers, this project can also be improved for industrial level implementation.

RESULT:

The flow of water to the farm from a specific valve at a specific time is implemented by our project.
