Koyo Bearings change name to JTEKT Bearings

JTEKT Corporation Group will merge all of its registered trademarks under the JTEKT brand. For the bearing industry, this means that the Koyo brand will be replaced by the JTEKT brand starting our next fiscal year, starting April 1, 2022.

From the bearing manufacturing company's press release:

Please understand that this is just a rebranding. The company, its general structure, products and services will remain the same. Our customers can trust the good service and quality of our products in the future and our commitment to maintaining the same excellent business relationships with our valued partners as in the past.

Regarding the brand transition, please note that although the official date for this corporate brand change is April 1, 2022, the actual introduction of the new JTEKT branded products and the elimination of the Koyo brand will be subject to a gradual process, well beyond of this date. We expect the full transition to basically take at least 1 to 2 years.
