Design and manufacture of coconut peeling machineThe project began with collecting information and data about the user's lifestyle and the current process by which they perform their work. Current difficulties were analyzed. Interviews were carried out with users. A comparative benchmarking study was done on similar processes used in other similar extraction processes. Along with this, an ergonomic simulation was done to understand the user's difficulties and manufacturing methods to get an overview to provide a solution to the user to meet their needs.

Conclusion
The project comprises research and user study. The literature study is carried out based on existing patents on coconut fiber extraction machine, and it is observed that there are difficulties for remote villages to supply unused husks to coconut industries directly. Therefore, there is a need to give a solution to overcome their difficulties and arrive at a solution, importance is given to the operating environment of the users and especially constraints like Security, Function and reliability.
