Automatic Shoe Polishing Machine•There are two types of brushes used in shoe polishing,
1. BRISTLES BRUSHES
2. BRUSHES WITH HORSE HAIR
Design and manufacture of automatic shoe polishing machineThis model basically works on the scotch yoke mechanism. In the scotch yoke mechanism, the rotary movement is converted into sliding movement. This movement provides a controlled path that is best for our project. Here a 12V motor is used for power transmission. This motor is connected with scotch yoke mechanism. It converts rotary motion into sliding motion. There is a sliding plate used for sliding movement which is used in domestic applications at home. This sliding plate is fixed with scotch yoke mechanism with the help of L-shaped aluminum angles. On the back of this angle the shoe polish brush is fixed with the help of a screw. For the rear and front, another 12V DC motor is used to rotate the brushes.
• Now when power is supplied, first power goes to step down transformer and 230V power is converted to 12V AC power. From there, it passes through the circuit and the AC power is converted into DC power. This power is supplied to the ON-Off switches that control the movement of the motors and pump.
• Here two switch frames are provided, of which the first switch frame consists of two switches which are used to control the two sliding movements and two rotary movements of the brushes and the second switch frame consists of a switch which is used to control fluid flow. of the two switch board, switchNO-1 is used to control the sliding movement of the brush and switchNO-2 is used to control the rotary movement of the front and rear side brushes.
• After connecting the power supply, simply turn on the engine and water pump start switches. The brushes start working automatically. There is a sliding movement of the brush that creates friction and will help improve the shine of the shoe.
