We are using solenoid switch as the main device to lock the front wheel of the two-wheeler (disc brake system only)
- We are now adopting this configuration only for disc brake systems involved in bicycles.
- Solenoid is a device that works in linear motion. It consists of a plunger, which moves in the TOO AND FRO direction, when connected to battery power.
In the disc brake system, the brake lever is used to activate the disc brake action.
Our plan is to use the solenoid to activate the disc brake action when the ignition key is in the OFF phase.
Therefore, we need the program to control the solenoid function. The program should be such that when the bike is in IDLE STATE or IGNITION KEY IN OFF, at that time if an unauthorized person tries to move it, then after certain rotations of the front wheel the MICROCONTROLLER should act with the help of sensor detecting front wheel rotation and should activate the solenoid function.

Solenoid: voltage 12 volts
current 5 amps
Battery: voltage 12 volts
current 7 amps
