MÁQUINA PERFURADORA AUTOMÁTICA GUIADA POR LASER

LASER GUIDED AUTOMATIC DRILLING MACHINE

Automatic laser guided punching machine mechanical designs

SYNOPSIS

Laser guided automatic punching machine is used to punch different objects with specified ink. The specified ink is indicated by the laser beam. This indication is very useful for the operator and rapid production occurred. The pneumatic system has gained great importance in recent decades. This importance is due to its precision and cost. This convenience in operating the pneumatic system made us design and manufacture this unit as per our design. This unit as we hope can be operated easily with semi-skilled operators.

The laser guided automatic punching machine has the advantage of working at low pressure, i.e. even a pressure of 6 bar is enough to operate the unit. The pressurized air that passes through the tubes to the cylinder forces the piston out, the force of which through the connection is transmitted to the punch. The part thus obtained has the required dimensions and can be collected through the free space provided in the die. The die used in this case is fixed in such a way that the die with the required shape can be used as per the need. This allows us to use different types of dies, resulting in a wide range of products. Different types of punches can be obtained as needed. Depending on the work material, the operating pressure may vary.

INTRODUCTION

The press is the punching machine tool designed to punch letters by applying mechanical force or pressure. The metal is drilled as per the desired requirement. Presses are intended exclusively for mass production and represent the fastest and most efficient way to transform a metal into a finished punched product.

Press tools are used to form and cut thin metals. The operation of pressing tools can be simplified to a few simple operations involving punch and die. There are types of Nemours presses in the engineering field, which are used to meet the requirements. We are interested in introducing pneumatic systems into presses. The main function of the machine is to form or cut thin metal or non-metal sheets using pneumatic energy. In this project we use the punching process for simple application.

WORK OPERATION

The compressed air from the compressor at a pressure of 5 to 7bar passes through a tube connected to the solenoid valve with an inlet. The specified ink is indicated by the laser beam. This indication is very useful for the operator and rapid production occurred. The solenoid valve is operated with a control and timing unit. The solenoid valve has two outputs and one input. The air that enters the inlet exits through the two outlets when the timing control unit is activated. Due to the high air pressure at the bottom of the piston, the air pressure below the piston is greater than the pressure above the piston. So, this moves the piston rod upwards, which increases the effort, which is rotated by the control unit. This acting force is passed on to the punch, which also moves downwards.

The punch is guided by a fixed punch guide so that the punch is clearly guided into the die. The materials are between the punch and the die. Thus, as the punch descends, materials are cut to the required punch profile and the blank is moved downward through the die gap. When the piston is at the extreme point of the stock's length, the exhaust valve is opened and air is expelled through it and the pressurized air enters the top of the piston and pushes the piston down. Thus, one side of the air is pulled down and the other side is lifted up.

Therefore, the punch is pulled upward from the die. Now the piston reaches the lower point of the required stroke length. Now the material is fed and the next piston stroke is ready. When the material is correctly positioned, this machine is automatically activated again. The duration of the next puncture is adjusted with the help of the control timing unit.

BENEFITS

1. The great advantage of the pneumatic system is the control valve that consistently applies a specified load with minimum effort.

2. From thin sheets to fibers, plastic and thin metal sheets can be punched into desirable shapes.

3. It can be modified to any extent to achieve the required effort.

4. Its result can be properly used in the extensive mechanical field.

5. Various cylinder systems can be driven according to the need for pressure effort.

6. In modern payer plants, this pneumatic system can be used to load press rolls.

7. Simpler construction than mechanical and hydraulic presses.

8. Compared with hydraulic and mechanical presses, pneumatic press is economical.

9. No current-carrying cables required.

10. No extra skills are required to operate this system.

11. The operation is very smooth and in this system we can obtain more results by applying less effort.

12. This system can be effectively used to punch marks on industrial materials, such as industry name, address or product number.

13. Laser beam identifies the drilling point, so production is fast

14. Greater accuracy using laser identification

LIMITATIONS

  • Even a small leak can result in a loss of power.
  • Due to the connections, there will be friction losses.
  • Maintenance will be higher due to the number of moving parts.
  • Stroke length and force are fixed.
