Here is the formula and example in table format to calculate round bar weight

Formula Description

๐‘ƒ Bar weight in kg
๐ท Bar diameter in meters
๐ฟ Bar length in meters
๐œ‹ Pi value, approximately 3.14159
๐œŒ Bar material density in kg/mยณ (for steel, approximately 7850 kg/mยณ)

Example:

  • Diameter ๐ท = 20 = 0.02m
  • Length ๐ฟ = 1
  • Density ๐œŒ = 7850 kg/mยณ
๐‘ƒ = ๐œ‹ ร— ( 0.02 ) two ร— 1 ร— 7850 Round bar weight calculation
๐‘ƒ = 3.14159 ร— 0.0004 ร— 1 ร— 7850 ๐‘ƒ = 9.8696 ร— 7850
๐‘ƒ = 3.14159 ร— 3.14 ร— 7850 ๐‘ƒ = 24661.18

Therefore, the weight of the round steel bar with a diameter of 20 mm and a length of 1 meter would be approximately 24.66 kg.
