SYNOPSIS

The pneumatic multipurpose machine model is designed for implementation in the field of lathe and other industries. It has proven to be the most versatile method for machining work on the workpiece. The model consists of pneumatic rotor and sliding arrangement with handle.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

This machine includes a first functional portion known as the work support that helps hold the workpiece. This system is provided with heads in which the machining tools are placed. These tools are organized sequentially according to the operations that need to be performed on the workpiece. Cutting tools are generally moved in a direction called the machining direction.

The pneumatic rotor is fixed to the clamp as shown in the figure . The workpiece is clamped in the lathe so that drilling or grinding operation can be carried out easily. Here the grinding and drilling tool can be changed manually according to the operator's needs. As the tool can be changed, the machine is called a multipurpose machine and because it is pneumatic it is called a pneumatic multipurpose machine. The feeding operation is done manually with the help of a spring and pivot arrangement.
