MANUFACTURE OF STEAM PLANT – Mechanical Project

SYNOPSIS

The objective of this project is to generate electrical energy through the manufacture of steam power plants. Now the daily energy demand is increasing, so this project is used to generate electrical energy in order to compensate the electrical energy demand. This Project is designed with arrangement of turbine, Dynamo, heater and Battery.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

This type of project is used in water storage areas. When high pressure steam flows through the turbine, it rotates. The rotation speed depends on the rod flow pressure. To monitor the rod pressure inside the tank we use a manometer that shows the vapor pressure inside the tank. The heater is used to convert the water inside the tank into steam as this is just a demonstration model of steam power plant. The dynamo is coupled to the turbine, it is a permanent mogul with a coil arrangement whenever the turbine is rotating, the moving coil of the dynamo also rotates due to voltage generation. The voltage produced can be stored in the battery. A compact fluorescent lamp is made to shine on the dynamo here for the demonstration. This stored voltage can be used for different applications. In this way, electrical energy is generated and electrical demand can be compensated.
