DIN EN 1.4541 Stainless Steel (Material X6CrNiTi18-10)
Stainless steel DIN EN 1.4541 (X6CrNiTi18-10) is a variant version of 1.4301. The addition of titanium stabilizes carbides without sensitization, because titanium forms more stable carbides than chromium. These carbides remove carbon from the solid solution and prevent chromium carbide precipitation. Therefore, this material is also called stabilized stainless steel. 1.4541 material has high corrosion resistance, good weldability and cold formability.
