Steel 42CrMo4 +QT (Material 1.7225)
Material 42CrMo4 (steel 1.7225) is a European standard alloy steel, the delivery condition of this steel is mainly tempered and quenched, it has high strength, high toughness, good hardenability, temper brittleness, high fatigue limit, good impact resistance after quenching and tempering and good impact at low temperature hardness. This steel is suitable for manufacturing large and medium-sized plastic molds that require a certain degree of strength and toughness, transmission gears, rear axles, load-bearing connecting rods, spring clips and deep well drill pipe joints of oil.
42CrMo4+QT means this material is in quenched and tempered (+QT) condition.
