Stainless steel 1.4104 (material X14CrMoS17)
DIN EN 1.4104 stainless steel (X14CrMoS17) is a type of martensitic stainless steel containing molybdenum. The higher sulfur content makes it more suitable for machining. It has good machining properties, good mechanical properties and good magnetic properties. However, the addition of sulfur reduces its weldability and corrosion resistance.
